Materials: oil lamp; function: ritual/temple use in Hinduism; height 19.0 cm, width 13.0 cm., A small metallic object sits centered on a plain light-gray background, appearing as a decorative stand with a rounded tiered base and a scalloped dish above it, finished in aged gold with darker patina in recesses; rising from the dish is a short fluted column topped by a sculpted bird figure seen from the rear, showing textured feather details, a long curved tail, and a rounded head with small protrusions, all sharing the same gold color with areas of brownish wear.
