The flask is short and wide with a short neck and cracklework embedded in yellow paint. The porcelain stopper is flat. The glaze is bluish, transparent, with minor impurities. Decoration is underglaze painted with cobalt. The stopper and flask are decorated with cracklework. 19th century, China; vessel; height 6 cm, diameter 4 cm., A small ceramic jar with a rounded body and a fitted lid sits against a neutral gray background; the jar is predominantly white with visible age-related hairline crack patterns in a tan color and features a painted blue scene wrapping around its body showing human figures and abstract shapes; the lid is similarly white with tan cracking and a small dark spot on top, and the base of the jar shows a subtle reflection on the surface beneath it.
