Early 20th century, Korea; vessel, censer; height 15.0 cm, diameter 9.8 cm., A brass tripod censer with a domed pierced lid sits on a scalloped circular base; the censer body is bulbous with engraved decorative panels and a smooth rim, and it is supported by three long tapered legs connecting to a round platform above the base; a looped handle rises from the lid and a stylized animal head spout projects from the front; visible colors are brassy gold tones, muted brownish highlights, and a neutral light gray background.
