Censer with a cover, Censer with two long handles with mascarons. Decoration: two reserves — fruits and leafy twigs, animals and birds among trees. Early 20th century, Korea. Vessel censer. Height 15.0 cm; diameter 9.8 cm., A brass vessel with a rounded body stands on a raised circular base and a group of tall tripod legs; the body has incised decorative leaf and vine patterns and a warm golden color with areas of darker patina. Two curved vertical handles extend upward from opposite sides, each attached to a sculpted animal head in a similar golden tone. The lid is pierced with an openwork pattern and topped by a small sculpted animal figure, showing the same brass color and subtle shading. The base and legs show engraved decorative bands and the overall scene is set against a pale gray background.
