Seal stamp, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, 19th/20th century. Blind stamp with a rectangular cross-section; bas-relief and engraved decoration depicting cranes. Seal stamp; height 6.5 cm, width 2.85 cm, depth 1.2 cm., A small rectangular carved object stands upright on a smooth surface, showing a relief of a stylized bird with a curved beak and wings folded against its body; the carving includes rounded, organic shapes and shallow grooves. The object appears to be made of stone with a mottled appearance in shades of light gray, pale green, beige, and small areas of brown, with subtle variations and speckling throughout. The background is a smooth gradient from darker gray at the top to lighter gray near the middle and almost white near the bottom, and a soft shadow falls to one side of the base.
