Li-type incense burner, Chinese, ceremony vessel in Ming/Qing styles Ming 1368–1644; Qing 1644–1911; Xuande period 1426–1435 antidated signature. Cast in golden-red bronze with light reddish-brown patina. Flattened body with twig-shaped handles and low legs. Signed. 18th century, China. Vessel censer. Height 13 cm; diameter 26 cm; depth 6.5 cm., A round, flat object with a mostly reddish-brown metal surface and a patina showing areas of darker brown and small greenish spots; the object has three rounded protrusions each topped with a brighter gold-toned circular cap and a recessed square panel in the center with carved linear patterns; the item rests on a reflective gray surface that creates a faint mirrored semicircle beneath it, and the background is a smooth light gray.
