Crackled glaze stained with pink and lilac spots, decorated with pearls, dragons, cracklework and flame motifs. 19th century, China. Height 7.4 cm; diameter 7.9 cm., A small ceramic cup sits against a neutral gray background, showing a rounded flared rim and a slightly tapered body that narrows toward a short foot. The cup's surface is a creamy off-white with a network of fine crackle lines and areas of subtle age-toned discoloration. A decorative motif in deep blue wraps around the exterior, forming sinuous, scaly shapes resembling a dragon with flowing whiskers and a curling tail, interspersed with short curved brushstrokes. The rim interior shows a faint wash of muted purplish-beige, and the foot edge has a slightly darker beige band. Reflections on the glossy glaze create small highlights on the cup's body and base.
