Vase, Chinese, Qing dynasty Kangxi period, 1662–1722. Blue-and-white porcelain ovoid vase with a flaring cup-shaped mouth. Shoulders with two applied mascarons with wheel motifs. Underglaze cobalt-painted decoration: figural scenes in two quatrefoil reserves; background plant ornament with small leaves and large floral rosettes, lotus tendril ornament, fans, and lotuses. Signed. China. Vessel. Height 25.5 cm; diameter 11.1 cm., A white ceramic vase decorated with blue painted designs, showing a flared rim, a narrow neck, and a bulbous body; the surface features floral and scrolling patterns in blue, a few oval panels with painted human figures, and a small sculpted ring handle attached to a stylized face motif, with visible blue accents and white background.
