Vase, Korean, Joseon 1392–1897, 18th century. Ovoid vessel with a long neck, maebyeong mei-ping type. Decoration: two dragons among clouds. Height 46.0 cm; width 32.0 cm; weight 8.0 kg., A ceramic vase with a rounded shoulder and narrow base shown against a neutral background, decorated in blue on a pale off-white ground with a painted serpentine dragon motif wrapping around the body, stylized cloud and wave forms, and floral or abstract scroll borders near the neck and base; the glaze shows crackling and a few glaze imperfections, and the dominant colors visible are blue, off-white, and subtle beige tones.
