Bowl, gift, vessel; ceramics, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century, China; purple glaze with celadon spots; manganese and copper, glaze; decorative vessel; height 6.7 cm, diameter 18.1 cm., A shallow ceramic bowl with a rounded rim and a short foot, glazed predominantly in deep purple with areas of blackish shading and a distinct irregular patch of light blue on one side, the interior appearing dark with purple along the rim, the foot showing a band of purple over a pale base, all set against a neutral light gray background.
