Small screen on a base, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. Small screen with an oval cross-section made of pale green jadeite. Engraved decoration: composition with pine, grass, lingzhi mushrooms on rocks; at the top a crescent with the inscription yue. Wooden base, elongated, tapering on the shorter side; on four short legs one broken off. Bulging side, inlaid with silver wire. 18th–19th century, China. Sculpture, screen. Dimensions: screen height 14.3 cm, width 9.1 cm; base height 8.7 cm, width 4.7 cm., A pale green carved stone object with smooth rounded forms and subtle veins of white and cream, standing upright on a gray surface against a dark gray to black gradient background; the object shows soft translucent areas and slight variations of light green, off-white, and a few warm beige streaks, with curved carved lines and gentle ridges casting soft shadows and a faint shadow extending to the left on the surface.
