Small screen on a base, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. Pale green jadeite small screen with an oval cross-section. Engraved decoration: composition of pine, grass, lingzhi mushrooms on rocks; at the top a crescent with the inscription yue. Wooden elongated base, tapering on the shorter side, on four short legs one broken, bulging side inlaid with silver wire. 18th–19th century, China. Sculpture, screen. Dimensions: sculpture height 14.3 cm, width 9.1 cm; base height 8.7 cm, width 4.7 cm., A pale green and white carved stone object stands upright on a smooth gray surface against a darker gray background, showing a layered, rounded top and carved flowing lines and shallow reliefs suggesting organic shapes; the stone displays translucent areas, subtle pale yellow veins, and smooth polished surfaces with softer matte patches, casting a soft shadow to one side.
