Vase in the shape of an onion-shaped bottle with a narrow, short neck. Onion-shaped bottle-vase decorated in flat relief with a composition combining cloud and babao emblems eight precious objects. Single-color dark green-blue glaze. Ceramics, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911 style; possibly 16th–17th century. Height 27 cm; weight 2.6 kg., A teardrop-shaped ceramic vase with a narrow neck and flared rim sits against a dark gray background, finished in a rich turquoise-blue glaze with a matte, slightly crackled surface; the body is decorated with a repeating raised pattern of stylized cloud-like motifs and flowing ribbon-like lines, with a band of wave patterns circling the lower portion, and a thin unglazed or worn ring of a light beige color visible at the base and rim.
