Vase with lid. Chinese. Qing dynasty, Qianlong period 1736–1795. Colored porcelain with lid; flattened vase form. Decoration: lotus tendril ornament, inscriptions of poems/poetry. Height 22.7 cm; width 10.7 cm; weight 0.65 kg., The image shows a decorative bottle with a lid set against a plain light gray background. The bottle is primarily a deep red color with ornate scrolling floral patterns in colors including blue, yellow, green, white, and gold. The lid has a rounded knob with blue and white detailing and a band of blue geometric pattern around its rim. A rectangular panel on the front of the bottle is white and bordered in gold, surrounded by the red and multicolored floral design that continues over the bottle's surface. The base of the bottle has a blue and white geometric band and the overall shape is elongated with a narrow neck and rounded shoulders.
