Incense container, colored porcelain with meander ornament, Qianlong style Qing dynasty, 1644–1911, signed. Possibly 19th century, China. Height 7.5 cm, width 5.8 cm., A hexagonal ceramic vessel with a glossy surface sits against a neutral gray background, predominantly white with decorative bands of deep blue forming intricate geometric and repeating patterns around its sides; the upper interior shows a pale turquoise glaze, and the rim has a thin brownish edge. The blue decoration includes a scroll-like border near the top, a central band of interlocking angular motifs framed by finer textured panels, and a lower band of vertical brushstroke-style marks, with the vessel and its colored patterns reflected faintly on the smooth surface beneath.
