Materials and technique: repoussé copper sheet, tin-plated inside, bronze-plated outside, patinated; silver-plated in sections. Repoussé spout and handle in low relief with inlaid eyes and copper rivets. Cover topped with a lotus bud. Function: tea vessel/kettle/teapot. Dimensions: height 25.5 cm; width 31.0 cm; diameter 19.3 cm; weight 0.85 kg., A metallic vessel with a rounded body and a fitted lid sits against a plain light gray background; the vessel is mainly gold in color with areas of wear and subtle surface irregularities, and it has an ornate handle and spout each shaped like stylized animal heads with decorative curving forms and textured details in both gold and silvery tones, a short decorative chain connects the lid area to the handle, and the overall composition shows polished reflective surfaces alongside matte patches.
