Three-element box on a stand. The box is in the shape of two eight-petal cups connected by a metal rim. Gilded relief decoration of floral tendrils lotuses, chrysanthemums. Wooden round base with a central hole; on five strongly curved legs; side in the shape of a flower rosette broken — three parts. Ceramic. 18th century, China; Qing, Qianlong period 1736–1795. Vessel/container. Box: height 7.8 cm, diameter 13.5 cm, weight 0.73 kg. Stand: height 8.9 cm, diameter 16.0 cm, weight 0.25 kg., function: box., A rounded ornate container with a richly textured gold surface sits atop a dark wooden stand; the container shows intricate raised floral and vine patterns in gold, a darker band encircling its middle with a repeating geometric motif, and a slightly indented lid rim. The wooden stand is polished and dark brown with a carved, scalloped top and curved, bulbous legs. The background is a uniform light gray.
