Openwork positive composition depicting a spreading pine tree with bamboo growing from its thick trunk, marked with a few leaves; seppa dai oval; kozuka hitsu ana woven into the decorative motif but clearly visible. Signed. Height 7.75 cm, width 7.4 cm, thickness 0.5 cm., A round metal object with a dark gray, weathered surface features an openwork design of stylized tree forms and cloud-like foliage; a central oval element with an open vertical slot and a rounded side opening sits over a textured trunk and branches, and the background shows a few layered cloud-tree shapes and curved limbs. The visible colors are dark gray, lighter gray, and pale gray.
