Decorated with an openwork ji sukashi design, partly positive and partly negative, depicting two crickets among chrysanthemums, flowers, and grasses. Not signed. Diameter 7.2 cm; thickness 0.5 cm. Weapons — melee weapons — swords — katana — sword crossguards., A round metal object with an openwork floral and insect design, shown against a pale gray background; the metal appears dark gray with areas of brownish rust and traces of lighter metallic wear, and there are a few small patches of gold-colored residue near the central opening.
