Bowl., Gift; rocks. Chinese art; ceramics. Decorated with peonies in colored overglaze enamels on white porcelain with transparent sintered glaze. Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period 1723–1735. Semicircular body widening toward the upper edge. Porcelain vessel. Height 7.6 cm; diameter 19.5 cm., A white porcelain bowl with a flared rim and a short foot sits against a gray background, decorated around its exterior with painted floral motifs including a large deep pink flower, a yellow bloom, a blue flower, and surrounding green leaves and brown stems; the bowl and its decoration reflect faintly on the glossy surface beneath it, and the interior of the bowl is plain white.
