Belt clasp, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Brown jade with lighter spots, full-plastic carved head, engraved. Subject: birds, phoenixes, dragons iconography. Function: belt buckle. Dimensions: height 1.6 cm, width 7.4 cm, depth 1.2 cm., A smooth, elongated object rests on a white surface, with a rounded end resembling a small head and a thicker curved opposite end; the object is primarily brown with lighter tan areas and subtle pale greenish-yellow tones, and faint carved or etched swirling patterns are visible along one side, casting soft gray shadows on the surface.
