Belt clasp, Chinese, Chinese art, tigers, dragons, Qing 1644–1911. On the handle are engraved patterns in the shape of bats, a ruyi scepter head, and a leafy flower branch. Beige jadeite with darker spots. Carving, bas-relief, engraving. 18th–19th century, China. Belt buckle; height 2.4 cm, width 11.0 cm, depth 2.4 cm., A smooth carved object in shades of pale beige, warm tan, and light amber rests on a white surface, showing a glossy finish with subtle translucent areas; its form is elongated and slightly curved with rounded raised motifs and carved swirls along the top, ending in a thicker curled section with carved contours, and it casts a soft shadow beneath.
