Head and shaft carved in full plastic. 19th century, China; belt buckle; height 2.65 cm, width 9.7 cm, depth 1.9 cm, A carved stone object in shades of pale green, light yellow, and muted brown sits on a white surface against a gradient gray background; the object has a sinuous, flowing form with a curled end resembling a stylized head with carved ridges and rounded protrusions along its back, a hollowed opening on one side, and a smooth underside that rests on a small rounded base, casting a soft shadow on the surface.
