Belt clasp. Handle flattened on the sides, decorated with a lizard-dragon motif. Jadeite with traces of chalcedony. Head carved in full plastic, convex relief. Dragons and lizards iconography. Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. 17th–19th century. Belt buckle. Height 2.3 cm; width 8.4 cm; depth 1.8 cm., A pale greenish-beige carved object in the shape of a stylized animal with a curved body and elongated neck rests on a light surface, showing some brownish discoloration on its back and head; the carving has rounded protuberances along the top and a more detailed head with carved facial features, and a small circular support piece beneath the central underside; the background transitions from light gray at the bottom to darker gray at the top.
