Belt clasp, Milky-white translucent jade. Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Subject/iconography: cicadas and dragons. Shaft in flat relief; head carved in full relief. Belt buckle. Dimensions: height 2.4 cm, width 10.7 cm, depth 2.1 cm., A smooth, pale off-white carved object lies horizontally on a light surface against a gradient gray background, showing a rounded, elongated form with carved, curved ridges and decorative scroll-like ends, one end slightly separated and casting a soft shadow; the object displays translucent cream and ivory tones with subtle variations in shading.
