Head carved in full relief, flat relief. 17th–18th century, China. Belt buckle. Height 1.8 cm; width 8.0 cm; depth 2.1 cm., A pale, smooth ornamental object rests on a light surface, consisting of a longer carved piece with rounded ends and a shorter rounded element beside it; both pieces are an off-white to creamy color with subtle translucent qualities, and the longer piece shows carved swirling and geometric surface patterns in the same pale tone.
