Belt clasp, purchase provenance. Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. Green-gray jadeite, semi-transparent with slight colloid clusters. Full-plastic carved head with dragons iconography. Smooth handle. Function: belt buckle for men's clothing, ornament. 17th–18th century. Dimensions: height 2.0 cm, width 9.1 cm, depth 1.7 cm., A smooth, elongated carved object lies horizontally on a light surface against a gradient gray background; the object is primarily green with areas of pale white and subtle brownish discoloration, and one end features a carved decorative form with rounded protrusions while the other end is rounded and smooth, casting a soft shadow beneath.
