Decoration: figural scenes, birds, flowers, plum trees, chrysanthemums; kacho flowers and birds, kachôga iconography., A shallow ceramic bowl with a rounded rim and a small foot sits centered on a reflective surface against a plain gray background; the bowl is primarily cream with prominent red-orange painted decoration forming borders and panels around the exterior, including cloud-like motifs and ornate scrollwork, and a few painted human figures depicted in seated poses inside one of the decorative panels; the interior rim shows additional red-orange ornament and the base has a band of vertical red-orange strokes visible in reflection.
