Decorated in cloisonné with geometric-floral patterns including shippo, asanoha, kikko, floral ornament, and dragons Japanese dragon motif., A lidded vase with a rounded body and a domed lid topped by a knob, decorated overall with dense small-scale patterns and floral motifs in a palette that includes green, blue, pink, red, white, and gold; a broad sinuous band of deep blue edged with pale pink winds around the body, set against a richly patterned green background filled with small flowers and leafy forms in red, white, blue, and gold; geometric medallions and patterned patches in pink and red appear amid the foliage; the lid and neck display bands of tiny repeating motifs and a band of small flowers in blue and white with pink borders; the knob atop the lid repeats the small-scale patterned ornamentation; the vase sits on a reflective surface that mirrors its lower portion and the background is a plain light gray.
