Cloisonné enamel incense burner on four legs; decoration of lotuses and lotus tendrils on a turquoise background, legs in the shape of flowered trunks plum branches in gilded bronze; ornament motifs include plum trees, cracked ice, and meander. 18th century. Vessel jardiniere/incense burner. Height 9.5 cm; width 17.2 cm; depth 12.0 cm., A rectangular decorative container with a gold rim sits on a reflective surface, showing a front panel decorated in bright blue and turquoise enamel with a complex floral and scroll pattern in green, red, white, and dark blue; the panel is bordered by a geometric band in blue and gold. The container rests on ornate gilt and dark metal feet shaped like stylized branches and leaves with small floral details, and the interior appears coppery brown.
