Vase - moon bottle pilgrim bottle with a flattened belly, supported by a separate oval high foot, with a short neck resembling a garlic bulb suantoukou type. Decoration on one side: a multicolored composition depicting a chrysanthemum flower growing on a coastal rock, above which a dragonfly and a grasshopper hover. The other side shows lilies irises on a rock above the water, with a butterfly and a grasshopper perched above them. Small, colorful flowers growing on the shore appear in both scenes. Both decorations use the flowers and birds motif known from Chinese scroll painting; a Chinese meander forms the background for both compositions. The foot, side edges, and neck are filled with a lotus tendril pattern. Cloisonné enamel dominated by red, white, green, yellow, and navy blue; non-enamelled elements are gilded. Visible abrasions of the gilding and firing-related technological defects. Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 2nd half 18th century. Chinese cloisonné vessel. Height 29.8 cm; width 21.1 cm., A rounded decorative object with a central circular opening, shown from an angled top view, featuring an overall blue background with ornate floral and vine patterns in red, white, green, yellow, purple, and gold. The rim around the opening and edges are metallic gold, and the band around the midsection displays repeating stylized flowers with swirling green vines and small yellow floral accents. The surface below the band shows a geometric maze-like pattern in a darker blue, and there are additional multicolored motifs, including a yellow and purple butterfly-like shape. The central opening appears dark inside.
