Box with lid, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, cloisonné enamel, floral ornament featuring chrysanthemum tendrils covering container and lid against a turquoise background. Large cylindrical-spheroidal box on a separate annular foot with slightly flattened lid. Upper edge of the storage section and lower edge of the cover decorated with a ruyi-head border in white and red; a blue three-petal pattern completes the decoration. Foot bears an ornamental band of colorful flowers and leafy twigs. Interior of the box and inner surface of the foot filled with uniform turquoise enamel; unenameled edges storage section, cover, and foot are gilded. 18th century, China, container; height 14.5 cm, diameter 34.5 cm., An oval shallow bowl with a raised foot, decorated in shades of blue, turquoise, white, green, brown, yellow, red, and gold; the outer surface shows a repeating floral and foliate pattern with stylized flowers and leaves in white, green, brown, and yellow against a blue and turquoise background, bordered at the rim by a decorative band in white and brown and at the foot by a band of small floral motifs on a deep blue ground; the rim and edges are finished in a worn gold tone.
