Double gourd-shaped vase, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, cloisonné enamel decorative vessel. Decoration: flowers, butterflies, insects on a turquoise ground with a grid of circles; yellow neck. Twisted from two parts. 19th century. Height 14 cm, diameter 7 cm., A double-gourd shaped decorative object with a glossy surface showing a dominant blue color patterned with an intricate gold interlocking ring motif, accented with floral and butterfly-like designs in red, purple, yellow, and green, a narrow neck area that is lighter with pale yellow and green tones and similar floral accents, thin gold bands separating the two bulbous sections and forming the rim and base edge, a small section near the base showing a band of dark red with pale yellow circular spots, and a neutral light gray background.
