Vase with lid, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, cloisonné enamel decorative vessel with floral ornaments, flowers, plant and lotus tendrils, 18th–19th century, China; height 23 cm, diameter 14 cm., A lidded jar with a rounded body and a domed top sits against a pale gray background, decorated with an intricate floral pattern in shades of blue, turquoise, red, green, gold, and white, with gold-colored metal edging on the lid and rim and a gold-colored knob on top; the body shows several stylized flowers and scrolling vine motifs in blue, red, green, and gold on a light turquoise ground, with a band of blue and gold patterning near the base and a red and gold band at the foot.
