Decoration: ducks on a turquoise background; lotus tendril ornament on the neck. 19th century, China. Height 23.5 cm., A rounded vase with a flared neck, predominantly turquoise blue, decorated with a repeating pattern of flowing concentric lines and a group of stylized ducks in white, black, gold, red, blue, and yellow; the neck features ornate floral motifs in red, white, blue, green, and gold with a gold rim at the top, and the base has a narrow band of geometric diamond shapes in blue, red, gold, white, and yellow above a gold foot.
