Vase with cover, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, cloisonné enamel, decorated with lotuses and geometric patterns, decorative vessel/vase, 18th century China, height 37 cm., The image shows a lidded vase with a bulbous body tapering to a narrower base, decorated in a dominant turquoise color with an intricate repeating geometric pattern, accented by a few green lotus leaves and stems, several red and yellow lotus buds, and some purple and blue floral elements; the lid and rim feature bands of deep blue with red and gold decorative motifs, and the finial, rim edge, and base edge are metallic gold.
