Vase with cover, cloisonné enamel baluster vase decorated with lotuses, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th century, height 37 cm., A lidded vase with a rounded body and flared base standing on a reflective surface, decorated overall in turquoise with an intricate maze-like pattern, featuring floral motifs including lotus flowers and leaves in red, yellow, green and blue. The lid has a domed shape with a small gold knob and a wide rim decorated in blue with red and gold accents. The vase shows gold trim along the base and rim, with additional red decorative banding near the bottom and green stems and leaves rising along the body. The background is a neutral pale gray.
