The vase features a dominant green background mottled with darker green patterning, interrupted by a few vertical panels in pale blue and cream. Within the cream and blue panels are painted botanical motifs including clusters of flowers and leaves in colors such as light blue, red, purple, white, and various greens, along with a few small insects depicted in dark brown and black. The rim and base have thin metallic bands in a muted gold color. The overall palette includes green, pale blue, cream, light blue, red, purple, white, dark brown, black, and muted gold.
