Vase with a thin, very slightly flared neck decorated with flowers and butterflies in cloisonné enamel on a pale blue-gray background. Japanese, Meiji/Taisho period, ca. 1910–1920. Height 11 cm; diameter 5.3 cm., A smooth, slender vase with a narrow neck and rounded body sits against a plain background; its surface is a pale bluish-green with decorative motifs in black, yellow, and a muted blue-green, including a group of small stylized winged shapes near the neck and floral clusters with dark leaves and yellow blossoms toward the body, plus thin curved stems in yellow; the rim and base have metallic bands with a slightly worn appearance.
