Stems with alternating, elongated, jagged leaves in pale grayish green support large, full corollas of white and light purple flowers with dense yellow stamens and a green pistil; the motif is executed using the yusen cloisonné enamel technique, with thin silver wires precisely structuring the delicate, jagged forms of leaves and petals.
