Ovoid vase, elongated, with a long, thin neck, slightly flared at the spout. Navy blue background of the decoration. c. 1890–1910 Meiji period, Japan. Vessel; height 15.6 cm, dia. 5.6 cm, width 6.4 cm., A tall, narrow-necked vase with a deep blue background and a thin metallic rim at the top and base, decorated with several clusters of small floral motifs in colors including orange, light blue, pale purple, white, and green, with leafy green stems and small white accents, shown against a plain light gray background and reflected faintly on the surface below.
