Satsuma ceramic vessel with wisteria and butterflies decoration. The lid has a gold knob shaped like a flower. The vessel has two slightly convex handles and stands on three wide feet. Signed. Height 6.8 cm; diameter 10.2 cm., A round decorative lid with a central raised knob sits against a grey background; the lid has a white surface decorated with floral and leafy patterns in shades of green, brown, blue, pink, and purple, with a gold rim and gold detailing throughout, and the central knob and surrounding medallion are gold with accents of red, blue, and green.
