Incense burner koro with cover by Kinkozan Sobei VII 1867–1927, with Kinkozan workshop co-creator. Ceramics Kyoto satsuma, Meiji period 19th/20th century. Satsuma censer decorated with wisteria, chrysanthemums and flowers; okimono-style, tripod form with two handles. Signed. Vessel: height 7.8 cm; diameter 9.5 cm. Origin: Awata, Kyoto, Japan., A rounded ceramic vessel with a pale cream background decorated with hanging floral motifs in shades of blue, purple, pink, white, and green stands on three short gold-colored feet and has two ornate gold-colored handles on opposite sides; the top rim is also gold-colored and the piece is reflected on a glossy gray surface against a plain gray background.
