Vase, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century. Large oval ceramic vase with a long wide neck opening, covered with sang de boeuf bull’s blood glaze. Height 58 cm; diameter 24.5 cm., A tall ceramic vase with a flared rim and a narrow neck widening into a rounded body, finished in glossy shades of red and deep crimson with subtle variations and darker red undertones, sitting against a pale gray background and reflected faintly on a glossy surface below.
