Vase-bottle, Chinese, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period 1736–1795, 18th century. Blue-and-white porcelain; bulbous belly slightly flattened at top; decorated with dragons, dragon with a pearl, waves and sea waves, pearls. Signed. Height 54 cm, diameter 46 cm., A rounded ceramic vase with a long narrow neck sits against a dark background, decorated in blue and white wave patterns covering its surface and accented by a few large orange-red dragon motifs that wrap around the body and neck; the top rim appears pale, and the base shows a touch of warm beige.
