Inscriptions deciphered: reads drinking; in the hexagonal star Gan Eden, garden; in the cartouche for celebration; under the handle, in the Seal of Solomon/Star of David the letter Mim from the word water. Beginning of the 20th century, Palestine; vessel; height 15.5 cm, width 15.5 cm, diameter 8.7 cm., An ornate metal vessel with a conical base and a narrower upper neck, finished in aged brass tones with areas of darker patina and hints of silver and copper inlaid decoration, a hinged domed lid topped by a small crescent-shaped finial, a long flat iron handle attached to the upper section, and decorative scrolling motifs around the body in silver and copper tones against the brass surface.
