Materials/technique: ceramics., A cylindrical ceramic object stands upright against a plain gray background, decorated with painted scenes and bands of ornament. The upper rim is bordered by a wide red band featuring circular floral medallions and a patterned strip in lighter tones, followed by a scalloped red decorative edge. The central body shows a painted scene of children or small figures wearing traditional clothing in colors including red, green, brown, black, and cream, with one figure carrying an ornate oval object with detailed interior patterns. The lower portion has another scalloped red decorative band and a base band with circular red motifs on a textured lighter background. The surface of the object shows a crackled glaze in pale cream and off-white, and the overall palette includes red, cream, green, brown, black, and hints of gold.
