Bowl, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, 19th century, blue-and-white porcelain vessel decorated with flowers, conservation techniques — clasps; height 5.8 cm, diameter 9 cm., A small ceramic bowl with a rounded shape and a narrow foot, predominantly white with blue decorative brushwork forming swirling and floral patterns on its exterior; the surface shows visible cracks repaired with metal staples that are brass or bronze in color, some staples showing a slight greenish patina; the rim and foot have thin blue bands, and the interior is mostly white with faint hairline cracks; the background is a plain light gray.
