The cart has a long curved shaft ending in a decorative finial shaped like a bird, with the shaft and bird in gold and darker patina. The canopy is arched with scalloped openings and ornamental edgework, revealing a seated human figure inside rendered in dark bronze. The cart rests on a pair of large circular wheels with perforated floral-like patterns in darker bronze, and the surfaces show areas of wear and mottled discoloration in gold and brown. The overall colors visible are gold, bronze, brown, and gray.
