Bowl, 19th century, Qing 1644–1911, China. Spotted agate vessel with yellow-rusty stains and black dots. Hexagonal in the upper part, on a ring foot. Handles shaped as leafy branches with a flower. Morning glory motif. Height 4.7 cm, diameter 8.0 cm., A translucent, pale yellowish bowl with a smooth rounded interior and irregular petal-like edges sits centered against a dark gray to light gray gradient background; the bowl has a glossy surface with subtle milky swirls and warmer amber and honey-colored patches, and a small floral-shaped handle on each side that share the same translucent yellow and amber tones, casting a soft shadow on the lighter foreground.
